Connect directly to a room
When someone
connects to psilodge.com through the
Java (web) interface they are automatically routed to the room
#lobby by the system. If they
wish to connect to a different room instead them they must tell their
browser what room to connect to. Normally a user connects by putting
http://psilodge.com in their browser's address window. To be
routed to a specific channel they must include the channel or room name.
For example to connect to the room #test
on connect they would enter
http://psilodge.com/?room=test into the address window of their
browser. They may also use the same command format to create links to a
specific room on a web site. In mIRC users are not sent to a room on
connect. Instead they must specify the room they wish to visit once they
are connected by using the Join command. |
Feature not
available - User must enter the channel name after connecting. ie.
/join #test or. See mIRC instructions
for joining a channel. (Note: Some scripts for mIRC support this feature
but are generally not worth using due to security risks.) |
